Dr Louise Wong graduated from the University of Newcastle and trained in Radiology at the Royal Hobart Hospital and at Westmead Hospital including Interventional Fellowship training. She subsequently worked in a variety of teaching hospitals and private practices, gaining a breadth of experience of patients and their range of conditions as well as their treatment in both hospital and outpatient settings.
She presently works as a senior staff specialist at the Royal North Shore Hospital. She is the lead radiologist for the Haematology and Lymphoma as well as the Endocrinology multidisciplinary meetings and a regular participant in quality control meetings.
Her interests are in Body and Chest Imaging, including Cardiac Imaging. She also has an interest in imaged-guided musculoskeletal and spinal procedures.
She believes in dedicated as well as compassionate care for patients together with strong communication with their physicians and surgeons.
